Happy Birthday to me!

Today marks another full orbit around a sun made of sugar. Which also means I’m now another year older, wiser and a little bit sweeter. The journey of life is out of this world and It would be a very bland and lonely expanse if it wasn’t for the amazing people in my life, so thank you everyone.

Here is a delicious flashback to the time I teamed up with my friend Karin from @sweetlittletreatcakes who is a cake creating genius. All I had to do was bake a cake and she helped bring my vision to life. Not only is this chocolate mud cake succulently layered with 3 delicious fillings (salted caramel, cookies and also jam), this concrete eye candy is also bursting with living desert life. I couldn’t think of a better celebration cake for myself.

Thanks so much to Karin for all her help, and if you’re local to the Waikato, you should definitely check her out.

We’re currently looking at adding a new member to our family, so we had the opportunity to do some puppy sitting to get some experience. This is Cassi, she’s a black lab puppy and is too cute not to squeeze. She’s giving us lots of practise and we can’t wait to meet our new family member in the near future. 🐾
