Fruit Goo

Fresh fruit goo adds that special touch to any breakfast, dessert or baking. With this easy foolproof recipe you can now have that extra something! You can experiment with any kind of fruit you like, for example apples, berries and stone fruit. For whatever you need, start experimenting with different fruit combinations, spices and flavours.

Serves: 250ml
Ingredients
  • 400g Fresh or Frozen Fruit
  • 120g Caster Sugar
Instructions
  1. Chop up your fruit and place in a saucepan, along with the sugar.
  2. On a medium heat, bring the fruit to a simmer stirring regularly.
  3. Reduce heat and allow to simmer for a further 10 to 15 minutes or until the fruit start to break down and thicken.
  4. Depending on the consistency you're after, you can leave the goo as is, or strain out some of the liquid if needed. Also don't forget to check the sweetness of your goo, if it's too tart, add a little more sugar.
  5. Allow to cool and then pour into a jar and keep in the fridge for all occasions.

For many (myself included), 2020 was a bit of a blur. But I did keep myself busy and my Instagram kept on ticking away in the background, either with photos or stories. 

Still in the early days of January, I thought I’d quickly share my top 9 Instagram photos of 2020 before the New Year passes. 

Having this opportunity has given me a chance to re-visit some of my past content and highlight what we’ve enjoyed throughout the year, cakes, bread, cookies and obviously lots of home baking. 

I love the community I’ve built up over the past year on both Instagram and Facebook, so let’s continue this journey of sweetness together into 2021.
